Tips & Advice Needed -- Home work space, priorities & family
I think we all would agree that most of us are starting to experience boredom and we are ready to get back to what we call normal. My tip for staying focused while working at home is to start your morning like you would if leaving the house. Try to have a private space if possible, to set up your work-space in order to stay on task. Make sure to inform family members that they should pretend you are not there, be sure to set a schedule and maybe post it as a reminder for others. Also, don’t work more than 8 to 10 hours a day if possible. Take advantage of spending time with your love ones, and please enjoy it!
As well, during my break time I make sure to chat with my family and answer any questions that may come up, this helps to keep them from interrupting me while I am working. In addition, I use my lunch break to not only eat something but to workout. This helps me to stay on a healthy path. I know, not everyone is able to exercise or care too, but even walking around the yard, playing with the children will help to keep the heart rate up. My point is, I do not want anyone to get depressed and too focused on the negative.
As long as we are alive, we will have the opportunity to turn things around and have a better future. This too shall pass…
I would suggest having a routine just like going into the office, shower, dress, eat breakfast get your coffee and go into the proper space for work. Logon on 5-10 minutes before your start time if you're on the clock then get to work. Make sure children and spouses are not in the room or nearby to distract you, keep media systems and be prepared for meetings and conference calls (via Zoom, Skype etc.) . Make sure you take a lunch and breaks, lastly, sign off at the end of the day to separate work life from home life many times what will happen you'll work longer hours than normal and neglect those in the house. I was surprised how my productivity increased working from home due to no interruptions. Good luck!!

Establish routines, stick to them as much as possible, keep calm.
There are a lost of interruptions and priority shifts while working from home. Also, as time goes by, lines between days get blurred. Weekends start to feel the same as weekdays, and viceversa.
This situation is a major test for our ability to change and adapt. Let's step up to the challenge.

Well, re: productivity, I have been kept busy because I am consulting to a company that facilitates virtual meetings and as you would expect, more and more companies are pivoting to that genre to keep employees engaged and to continue to meet their goals. It is very, very interesting watching the dynamics in a meeting. In Post mortems with the responsiblers (of the meeting), they tell us some of their more introverted employees are more engaged. You know what else? They are more light and fun!
