Greetings. I’m a former retail executive with a solid background in stores ( yes I know a sad category these days in many ways!) As I plan my next chapter I’ve taken on consulting to keep myself sharp as I look for a full time traditional gig. But I find I’m overassorted ( a retail nightmare) as I choose projects based on brand recognition and now it looks and sounds like Im all over the place. Is this a huge error?
Hi Rick, I'm new to consulting as well as I've just retired from 45 years of full time CEO positions. Have talked to many people on this subject and clearly the advice is to focus on up to three areas in your consulting practice. I'm following that advice and would be hapy to continue the conversation and let you know how it works out.
Alan, I am so sorry. I am just seeing your response this morning. Not sure how that happened. Here is my contact info. Happy to talk anytime, and again, my apologies.
